After serving as a judge for 25 years, Stephen Baratta is now Northampton County’s District Attorney who is dedicated to reforming the DA’s office to ensure that the needs of our community are met.

With a record of creating Northampton County’s problem solving courts - Drug Court and Mental Health Court, addressing inequities in our bail system, and improving the juvenile system, Baratta is bringing much needed change to our justice system.
